The kit also includes 2 gauze pads that are used to first dry the wound, and alcophol pads to cleanit before securing the micoMend wound closure in place where it will stay put for up to 10 days. The wound closure strips protect your injured skin from dirt and debris that can lead to infection while providing the time needed for your wond to heal properly. Directions
See directions below. Clean wound with soap and warm water. Pad dry.
If wound is bleeding apply pressure with the included gauze pad.
Once bleeding and drainage have stopped, clean wound with included alcohol pad
Carefully remove the microMend device from its pouch & position across wound
Press and hold down on one side of the wound. Pull gently to close wound and press down on the other side.
Press and hold across the wound to secure.
