This product helps with pain related to a wide range of health problems such as headache, backache, toothache, premenstrual and menstrual cramps. These tablets also temporarily reduce fever, the common cold, and minor arthritis pain. When you take this product, you can continue doing activities you love without being held back by pain. Directions Check the package for dosage instructions. This product is only for adults and children 12 years and over. Make sure not to take more than 12 tablets in one day. Do not take this product for more than 10 days unless prescribed by a doctor. Warnings This product contains acetaminophen, which may cause liver damage for adults who take more than 12 tablets in 24 hours. The CVS Health Pain Relief Tablets Regular Strength should not be taken with other drugs that contain acetaminophen. Do not drink alcohol when taking this medicine. Ask a doctor before administering these tablets to pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep this product out of reach of children. Stop using these pain relief tablets if your fever worsens, lasts more than three days, or when redness and swelling are present. These symptoms could be signs of a more severe condition. Directions
Directions: Retain carton for complete product information. Do not take more than directed (see overdose warning). Adults and children 12 years and over, take 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms last. Do not take more than 12 tablets in 24 hours. Do not take for more than 10 days unless directed by a doctor. Children 6-11 years, take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms last. Do not take more than 5 tablets in 24 hours. Do not take for more than 5 days unless directed by a doctor. Children under 6 years, do not use this adult regular strength product in children under 6 years of age; this will provide more than the recommended dose (overdose) of acetaminophen and may cause liver damage. Follow as instructed on the product label.
Warnings
Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if: adult takes more than 12 tablets in 24 hours, which is the maximum daily amount; child takes more than 5 doses in 24 hours; taken with other drugs containing acetaminophen; adult has 3 or more alcoholic drinks every day while using this product. Other warnings: Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the user is taking the blood thinning drug warfarin. Overdose Warning: Taking more than the recommended dose (overdose) may cause liver damage. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center (800-222-1222) right away. Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as for children even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. Do not use: with any other drug containing acetaminophen (prescription or nonprescription). If you are not sure whether a drug contains acetaminophen, ask a doctor or pharmacist. Ask a doctor before use if: the user has liver disease. Stop use and ask a doctor if: pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days in adults and children; pain gets worse or lasts more than 5 days in children under 12 years; fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days; new symptoms occur; redness or swelling is present. These could be signs of a serious condition. Pregnancy/breast-feeding warning: If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. Follow as instructed on the product label.
