Performing the test is easy. Simply unscrew the tube to expose the wand. Collect a small sample of fecal matter from your tissue paper, and insert the wand back into the tube. Shake the tube, then apply three drops onto the cassette and read your results. The entire test takes five minutes or less and the fecal immunochemical test is considered a preferred screening method for Colorectal Cancer Detection by the U.S. Preventative Services Task Force, the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Cancer Society, and the CDC (Center for Disease Control).
