Nexxus

Nexxus uses an ingredient called sodium lauryl sulfate, which is a sulfate or surfactant. This cleansing agent is used to make many hair care and cosmetic products thanks to its cleansing and foaming properties, and you may find sulfates in Nexxus shampoos unless it is otherwise listed on the product packaging. If you're concerned about sulfates, make sure that you only purchase Nexxus products that are sulfate-free.

Many Nexxus products are specially formulated to be safe for color-treated hair. Make sure that you choose products from Nexxus made just for colored hair to preserve your hair color and keep it looking fresh.

Some Nexxus products are paraben-free, specifically the brand's Clean & Pure hair products line which does not contain parabens and many other harsh ingredients.
