When poison oak, poison ivy, or sumac cause itching, weeping, or oozing, CVS Health™ Itch Relief Spray can help. This extra-strength formula is made with 2% diphenhydramine for fast, effective relief. Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that helps block the source of your itch. The zinc acetate (0.1%) helps protect your skin while drying your rash. You can also use this anti-itch spray to ease the discomfort of minor cuts, scrapes, burns, and insect bites. Before applying this extra-strength spray, clean the treatment area with soap and water and pat the skin dry. Then apply the extra-strength spray according to the instructions on the back of the bottle. For children under 2 years, contact your health care provider before using this product. Warnings: Flammable. Keep away from heat, fire, and flames. Do not use this itch-relief spray while taking any other diphenhydramine product, even one taken by mouth. For external use only.
