When using any fade cream, it's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions. The company that makes Ambi® Fade Cream recommends washing your face with Ambi® Foaming Cleanser. Once your skin is clean, apply your moisturizer. Then smooth a thin layer of Ambi® Fade Cream on the areas you want to lighten. You can use Ambi® twice each day but should avoid getting the product near your eyes. The company also recommends washing your hands before and after each use.

Ambi® Fade Cream is formulated to reduce the appearance of dark spots and discolorations gradually. When used as directed, you could start noticing visible changes in as little as two weeks. Your results should steadily improve with continued use. However, you should not use Ambi® Fade Cream for more than 4 consecutive months. Long-term use of skin products made with hydroquinone can cause ochronosis. While rare, ochronosis can cause your skin to turn black or blue permanently.
